CRIMINAL JUSTICE CRISIS INTERVENTION TEAM TRAINING

Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) is an intensive training that provides law enforcement and first responders with the knowledge and skills for responding to a person during a mental health crisis. The CIT training is designed to:
- Provide intervention strategies and alternatives to assist in directing individuals with mental illness to the appropriate health care systems during crisis contacts and reduce their involvement in the criminal justice system.
*Training is open and free to sworn law enforcement officers, correction officers, first responders, dispatchers and probation/parole officers*
Registration deadline is October 11th, 2019
Cost: FREE Sponsored by Mental Health & Recovery Board serving Belmont, Harrison, and Monroe Counties
Pre-registration is required
